How does my environment influence me?

Everything around us influences us in many ways, we may not realize it does, but it does. Where you live, who you’re with and what you see in your everyday life changes how you act and react to different things. In Guatemala, I think mainly every citizen is afraid when they leave their homes in the morning because they don’t know if they’re going to be back to see their families at night. That is because of all the violence and breaking of the law, that’s how I feel. I’m afraid every morning when I leave home because I don’t know if I’m going to see my parents again. I was raised by my two parents and they taught me how to difference the right and the wrong, that’s why I am who I am today. I hang out with people who I know are going to lead me to positive things and not to make mistakes. I was taught from very little what were the most important valors. That’s why the environment affects people, if they were born in a place where the people around them have no valors and are not responsible, they are going to have those bad people be their models, they’ll follow them and grow up being like them. That is why Guatemala is they way it is, If their parents have not education, their kids are going to be just like them.
